Conditions Treated
Allergy
Sensitivity or intolerance to food, pollens, molds, dust and animal danders are the most common allergic conditions we diagnose and treat. More severe sensitivities include environmental pollutants, pesticides, odors, fumes and food additives.
Andropause, Male Menopause
Tired of the cost and hassle of weekly testosterone injections? Looking for a simpler easier and much less expensive alternative? Imagine a simple pill that you take orally to improve your testosterone deficiency.
Depression
Depression can be very different in different people or in the same person over time. It is a common but serious illness. When a person has depression, it interferes with his or her daily life and routine, such as going to work or school, taking care of children, and relationships with family and friends.
Digestive Disorders
It is estimated that some form of digestive disorder affects more than 100 million people in the United States. For some people, digestive disorders are a source of irritation and discomfort that may cause them to drastically limit their lifestyles such as missing days of work.
Fibromylgia, Chronic Fatigue
Do you hurt all over? Are you tired but cannot sleep? Did all your medical tests come back normal? Do your friends and family have a hard time believing you are ill because you look “healthy?” Does your massage therapist or chiropractor find knots all over you body?
Heart Disease, Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure
We offer advanced cardiac treatment to patients who have run their course with other providers. Our treatments include specialized diet, nutrition and when necessary and appropriate to do so, medications.
Hyperparathyroidism
When the parathyroid glands are overactive your bones release calcium into the blood stream. High levels of calcium on blood tests are never normal! Hyperparathyroidism can affect both sexes and all ages. It is more common in women ages 30 to 60.
Hypoadrenal Disorder
Adrenal insufficiency is an hormonal disorder that occurs when the adrenal glands do not produce enough of certain hormones. The adrenal glands are located just above the kidneys.
Hypoglycemia
Hypoglycemia is a condition characterized by abnormally low blood glucose (blood sugar) levels, usually less than 70mg/dl. It may also be referred to as an insulin reaction, or insulin shock.
Hypothyroid, HAIT
Hypothyroidism is an underactive or sluggish thyroid. Sometimes the problem is decreased production of the thyroid’s main hormone, thyroxine (T4). But T4 also has to be converted into its active form, triiodothyronine (T3), by the liver and kidneys.
Insomnia
Insomnia, also known as sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder where people have trouble sleeping. They may have difficulty falling asleep, or staying asleep as long as desired.
Insulin Resistance Syndrome X
We specialize in diagnoses and treatment of Syndrome X, a grouping of disorders that include coronary artery disease, cholesterol abnormalities, hypertension, adult onset diabetes and obesity.
Iron Deficiency
Iron deficiency is as common as hypothyroidism and its symptoms resemble those of hypothyroidism. However, the diagnosis of iron deficiency without anemia is extremely challenging since all indicators of iron status may be "normal."
Menopause, Bioidentical Hormone Therapy
Bioidentical hormones are made in the laboratory from natural plant sources and have the same molecular structure as the hormones made by your own body.
Narcolepsy
Narcolepsy is a disorder of unknown etiology characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness often associated with cataplexy in 60% of patients (sudden muscle weakness/paralysis provoked by strong emotion).
Nutrition, Food
Food provides the energy and nutrients you need to be healthy. Nutrients can be divided into 2 categories, macronutrients, and micronutrients.
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a bone disease that occurs when there is an imbalance between bone formation and old bone resorption.
Pellet Hormone Therapy
Pellet therapy uses biologically identical natural hormones to replicate the human female body’s normal hormonal balance. Unlike oral and transdermal forms of therapy that may produce uneven hormone levels, pellet therapy provides sustained hormone levels throughout the day and for 3 to 5 months or more
