George Juetersonke, D.O. (Dr. “J”) is a native of Illinois. He studied medicine at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Board-certified in Family Practice, Dr. J has been actively treating his patients for over 40 years. George Juetersonke DO practices in Colorado Springs.

Dr. J also has a distinguished academic career outside his clinical practice. For five years he served on the full-time medical faculty of The University of North Texas Health Science Center where he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine. He currently holds a faculty appointment as Associate Clinical Professor, Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker Colorado.

Medical students and residents are frequently invited to Dr. J’s busy Colorado clinic, where he shares his experience in the clinical aspects of preventive medicine. For several years Dr. Juetersonke was also on the faculty of Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. A busy travel schedule takes Dr. J to medical conferences where he lectures medical professionals on health topics of particular interest to him, specifically Menopause, Andropause, Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, Thyroid Disease, Hyperparathyroidism, Iron Deficiency, Anemia, Narcolepsy, Idiopathic Hypersomnia, Cholesterol Management, Heart Attack Prevention, Restless Leg Syndrome, Sleep Apnea, Low T, Fibromyalgia and Syndrome X aka Insulin Resistance Syndrome (coronary artery disease, hypertension, adult-onset diabetes, obesity, and stroke.

Dr. J is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, El Paso County Medical Society, Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Medical Foundation.

Dr. J resides in Colorado Springs with his wife Sandra, who also works in the practice as a registered nurse. Their daughter Lora is a Colorado State University graduate and works in the medical device field.
