Greetings from Kim Brown!

If you are looking at this website, there’s a good chance you have health issues that are not being addressed. In today’s world, an office visit is 10 minutes long and you can only address one problem. In my experience, it is impossible to give thorough patient care in 10 minutes! It becomes even more frustrating if your issue is complex, and many are!

My first appointment with you is up to two hours.  I actually listen to you and together we discuss your health care needs.  A plan is then formulated to achieve overall optimal health.  I use natural medicine as often as possible, although I believe in traditional medicine as well.  My motto is “balance is the key to optimal health” and I strive to find that balance for every individual patient.

A large part of optimal health is hormonal balance.  I use bio-identical (human-identical) hormones and try to find the perfect balance for what your body needs.  This balance is determined by how your body responds, not by lab results.  It is not a one-size-fits all world as determined by laboratory reference ranges.

Balanced hormones, along with an optimally functioning thyroid, have helped many patients over the years.  I started using bio-identical hormones for treatment when I came to work with Dr. Juetersonke in 2011.  I can honestly say, balanced hormones are life changing and I am passionate about providing the best for my patients.  The following are common symptoms that I treat every day:

  • fatigue, narcolepsy
  • heavy or irregular periods
  • PCOS
  • hot flashes and night sweats
  • insomnia, hypersomnia
  • anxiety
  • weight gain
  • decreased libido
  • thyroid and parathyroid disorders

If you are experiencing symptoms and would like to find solutions to your issues, I’m here to help!  Please call our office to schedule an appointment.  719-597-6075.

I hope to see you soon.

I welcome the opportunity to assist you with your healthcare needs, through professional and personalized care, incorporating both traditional and natural treatments. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday.

Sincerely,

Kim Brown, RN, MSN, NP-C
