Greetings From Ashley Eaton, RN, MSN, FNP-C, Colorado Springs
Ashley is a a board certified family practice nurse practitioner. She grew up locally in Fountain, Colorado. She received her Associates in nursing from Pikes Peak Community College. She joined the workforce work as a registered nurse in acute and long term care but felt the need to make a difference in her patients lives and began working as a hospice nurse. While working she continued growing her family with her husband, so it took her a little longer. In 2015, she went back to school for her Bachelor’s degree at Grand Canyon University then immediately after graduating she went to Walden University for her Masters degree to become a nurse practitioner.
"For the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient." Francis W. Peabody to Harvard medical students
Ashley found her home in our practice over two years ago. However, she is not a new Nurse Practitioner. Ashley has experience in urgent care, palliative care, and primary care. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she felt depleted and wondered why she become one as healthcare to her was not “health” care but sick care. She did not like working to give patients medications but to truly help them and make a difference in their lives. This makes her an excellent addition to our practice.
Over the past year she has incorporated knowledge from Dr. Juetersonke and Kim Brown, NP along with her experience has allowed her to make a difference in her patients lives in many different illnesses. Her caring and kind demeanor is comforting to her patients.
A very important part of Ashley's practice is treating women and men who have hormone imbalances. She has become very proficient in determining how to treat patients and to balance their hormones effectively. Another area of expertise is recognizing symptoms related to Narcolepsy. Since Dr. Juetersonke has made Narcolepsy a large part of his practice, Ashley is well trained in that field. Ashley has treated many other illnesses as well, but not limited to, PCOS, thyroid issues, fatigue, and iron deficiency.

“If you do not ask the right question you do not get the right answers. A question asked in the right way often points to its own answer. Asking questions is the ABC of diagnosis. Only the inquiring mind solves problems."
